Our Mission
In the tech channel, we work hard, play hard and, for the most part, earn a good living. Some of us donate time, but more often than not, we write a check to a charity and move on. While those one-off donations help, what could we do if we work together to raise money for a cause? It turns out that we can do a lot!
Over the past nine years, we’ve raised more than $1.75 million for grassroots organizations through Tech4Change.
Our Story
Our founders, Angie Tocco and Laura Dashney, saw an opportunity to bring individuals in the technology channel together to help organizations in our communities to thrive.
In 2014, they hosted a “Mardi Gras” fundraiser in connection with a channel event in New Orleans with all proceeds benefitting a local charity, Raintree Family & Children’s Services. The inaugural event was a huge success and their idea for event-based fundraising took off.
